Description
This is the scene where on February 29, 1952, the first pedestrian lights ever were installed at 44th Street and Broadway in Times Square. Each sign flashed "Walk" for 22 seconds, then "Don't Walk" for ten seconds before the "Don't Walk" turned red for 58 seconds more.
