Interior Shot of the Orpheum Theater
Description
The theater had its own orchestra with a continually changing roster of musicians and conductors. The Orpheum was also a key theater in the western half of the Keith-Orpheum circuit, one of the most successful vaudeville operations in the country. The circuit featured in-person performances by such big names as Sophie Tucker, George Jessel, the Marx Brothers, Bert Williams, and Will Rogers. (Courtesy of the Colorado Historical Society.)
